Wes Hauser

Wes Hauser (he/they) is a queer, neurodivergent facilitator who brings a steady, grounded presence to people moving through divorce, identity shifts, and the emotional terrain of endings and rebuilding. As a facilitator for Queer Divorce Club, Wes holds space with a calm, systems-aware, and deeply human approach shaped by both professional experience and lived reality. His background spans public service, higher education, environmental science, and nonprofit work, alongside lived experience navigating a difficult divorce, an exit from an abusive relationship, and recovery from a significant mental health collapse—experiences that inform his understanding of instability, survival-mode navigation, and the slow process of rebuilding safety and self-trust. At the core of his approach is the belief that people don’t need to be “fixed” to be supported, but rather witnessed, steadied, and met with clarity and care. He brings strengths in communication, structure, and systems thinking to help create containment in moments that feel overwhelming or fragmented, and his facilitation is shaped by a “Wayfinder” lens inspired by Martha Beck’s framework: a trust in internal orientation over external pressure, and in the quiet signals of alignment that emerge when people slow down enough to listen inwardly. In group spaces, he supports participants in reconnecting with their own sense of direction and agency without urgency or prescription, helping them remember how to recognize and trust their inner compass as they move through transition and recovery.
